According to this article here, it looks like Google Chrome just surpassed Internet Explorer as the most popular browser on the market. Here's a look at their survey chart...
It's pretty interesting to say the least...but then Microsoft is embedded everywhere with Windows. It's not like that stuff is going away any time soon...and actually using it lately has been surprisingly a good experience. With the exception of the folks at Firefox (who apparently decided a browser that's slower than a toaster is a good idea), Microsoft and Google are working hard to better our Internet experiences. :)
